I would like to begin by extending my sincerest gratitude to our valued clients, whom we have come to regard as partners, as well as our dedicated staff who have supported Emeco for almost three decades. We entered Egypt’s incentive industry in the 1970s as a fledgling company and have since, managed to mould our team into the successful corporate empire it is today. This has been achieved through an enduring collective commitment to create innovative and challenging programs and by our continuous development of the creative and professional means and methods that we use. In September 1979, we pushed Egypt’s social and entertainment scenes to new heights internationally, by hosting a performance by the renowned singer Frank Sinatra, at the feet of the Great Sphinx. More recently, we successfully organized a safari which allowed our clients to witness the March 2006 solar eclipse. The diversity of events we have organized and supported over the years, have been no small feats, with hard work and fearless innovation allowing the company to achieve a lasting success, which has endured throughout Emeco’s years in the Egyptian market. Our commitment to offering novel solutions, has allowed us to maintain our reputation as pioneers in the Egyptian incentive business. Our unwavering efforts to promote incentive travel to Egypt has culminated in the triumphant restoration of some of the country’s most cherished historical venues; enabling us to not only host private events in these spectacular settings, but also to play an important role in the preservation of Egypt’ antiquities and heritage. As major players in the Egyptian corporate travel market, our services extend to both incentive and conference programs, as well as inbound FIT Group special interest programs. Over the last five years we have succeeded in expanding the incentive travel market and adding to the diverse options we already offer. During this time Emeco added two sister ships the M/S Ti Yi and the M/S TU YA to their Nile Cruise fleet, along with four sailing boats, collectively known as Dahabiyas; eight cabined boats considered to be the most luxurious of those to travel along the Nile. Emeco’s transportation group presently owns more than 120 vehicles of different sizes designed to handle the tourists and staff of our major corporate clients. Once again, we would like to extend our appreciation to all those who have contributed to the sustained legacy of Emeco, and ask that we continue to sustain this reputation as we go into a new century exploring, discovering, and conquering new realms of the industry as well as the challenges they will bring.
